Luis E. Cintrón-Renta, CPA
Mr. Luis E. Cintrón-Renta is the founder of our firm. Mr. Cintrón began his career in Pol, Toro, Gil & Co., one of the first public accounting firms in Puerto Rico. After reaching the position of Junior Partner, he established his own firm in 1956. Mr. Cintrón continued his professional development obtaining a Juris Doctor degree specializing in corporate law and taxes. In 1978, he co-founded the law firm Cintrón & Ferre. Mr. Cintrón was president of the Puerto Rico Institute of CPAs. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Puerto Rico State Society of CPAs, Puerto Rico State Society of Attorneys, and the American Bar Association. His vision and service philosophy now propels LEC for over five decades in the industry. |

Carlos M. Cintrón-Renta, CPA
Mr. Carlos M. Cintrón-Renta is responsible for the firm's administration and is partner in charge of LEC 's Tax Division. Mr. Cintrón joined his brother in 1956 as Luis E. Cintrón & Co. was taking the firsts steps in becoming the professional service firm it is today. He has extensive experience in corporate reorganizations, mergers, tax exemptions and incentives, and tax investigations. Mr. Cintrón has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Puerto Rico State Society of CPAs and presided several of its committees. Mr. Cintrón is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Puerto Rico State Society of CPAs, the Association of Government Accountants, and the Puerto Rico Chapter of Hotel Accountants Association. His greatest accomplishment has been sharing over fifty years of knowledge for the benefit of the firm's clients and professionals. |

Carlos O. Ramírez-Puente, CPA
Mr. Carlos O. Ramírez-Puente leads LEC 's Audit & Assurance Division and Advisory & Consulting Division. Mr. Ramírez began his public accounting career with the firm and returned as a partner after working with an international accounting firm. He has served public and nonpublic clients in various industries, locally and in the United States. Mr. Ramírez is also the Information Systems Manager for the Firm. He has served as Treasurer on boards for nonprofit organizations and committees of the Puerto Rico State Society of CPAs. Mr. Ramírez is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Puerto Rico State Society of CPAs, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. |
